My First Blog Post

My Journey So Far:

Hello my name is Cesar.

What can I say? This is the first time I'm using a blog and I want to talk about how I start programming and where I am now.

Everything started a year ago when i had a serious ankle injury by playing soccer that left me in bed for almost a month. During that time I was curious to learn a computer program, but i didn't which program to pick. After, a serious time browsing the net and going through different blogs like www.dreamincode.net and stackoverflow.com, for some answers, I finally decide to take a free course in Pyhton as an introduction to programming. I believe that was the best thing I have done last year. Rapidly, I felt in love with python and programming in general.

So far, I'm currently learning as much as I can about web development with MOOC courses and learning more about python language. The Odin Project is a good way to start if you are an aspiring web developer (http://www.theodinproject.com/).

The road is hard, but I believe I can do the impossible if I keep myself focus in my main goal.

To all the people the is starting in the world of programming in general, all I can say is "work hard and keep coding!"

Happy coding, everyone!

I'll leave you with a link that a friend share with me today: http://www.onlinecollegecourses.com/2012/08/06/50-places-you-can-learn-to-code-for-free-online/

  1. Good luck as you study more of what you like. You started all of this after you hurt your ankle.....Just goes to show that the difficulties in life really can be part of bigger blessings!
